This project based in Lichfield was built for a couple that wanted that relaxation room to chill out and de-stress as well as orchestrating the room into a brilliant extension for social gatherings, not to mention the landscaping we created around the orangery to allow for an outside area to sit out on a warm and clear night. We started off by mapping out the area and boundaries for the orangery so we had a clear vision when building, this ensures all of the team understand the project image, once we had completed the first phase of the project we then move onto the construction of the orangery. The flooring was the first to go down with concrete mix and then the building of the walls and roof, once we had the orangery skeleton built all that was left was the windows and doors. As previously mentioned, the project didn’t stop there, we then shifted the social space from the orangery to the outside by adding a slabbing area with a low level brick wall to add the finish onto the slabbing with slabbed steps leading up to the garden for easy of access.
